Julia Lundsten graduated from the RCA in 2003 with a masters in Footwear design & won their internal design awards for footwear judged by Manolo Blahnik 2 years running. |

What is the concept of your label? |

Finsk's designs are predominantly concerned with material & structure. Julia approaces shoes as if they were pieces of furniture inspired by architectureal forms & makes experimental heel shapes with Birchwood from Finland & pieced together sections of leather for the uppers which gives her shoes an amazing sculptural quality. |
