Janice was raised in South Africa
by two generations of family who were involved in
all facets of the fashion industry. |

After gaining her Bachelor of Arts
degree in Law and Industrial Psychology from South
Africa’s prestigious University of Witwatersrand,
Janice was accepted to the world renowned Gordon
Flack Davidson School of Design, from which she graduated
with honors and earned the Graduate of the Year award
for a collection that would set the tone for her
professional pursuits in the coming years.
In 1990,
sisters Diane Levin & Janice Levin-Krok founded
a shop together in LA which was officially branded
Poleci in 1993. By 2007 they had expanded worldwide
and received numerous awards including 'California
Designer of the Year'. |

What is the concept of your label? |

A masterful blend of textures, colors
and shapes is what has captured the attention of
women all over the world. "I enjoy the challenge
of creating an accessible collection for today’s
urban lifestyle… a sculptured, modern and practical
look which women want to wear. It is the woman who
wears our clothes that is important." |
